About

Software that proves
the right people have access.

Persimmon Systems, LLC was founded by David Kedron in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2022. Permission Report is the solution David envisioned to help organizations keep track of the ever-increasing list of software and websites that make up their day-to-day operations.

The history

Over ten years ago, while working at a credit union, David implemented a comprehensive permission tracking system to support employee onboarding and offboarding. The shift in organizational efficiency was massive: audit reports that used to take a full day of manual assembly were now generated on demand, and permissions were reliably taken care of when employees left.

In the years that followed, David kept encountering situations where other organizations could have used the same thing. It wasn't just regulated industries — any modern business runs on a growing collection of websites and services that employees and contractors have access to, and almost none of them can answer the question "who has access to what?" with confidence.

Permission Report is that system, rebuilt for everyone.

Covers what SSO can't

Legacy logins, vendor portals, shared passwords, physical keys, hardware — the access automated tools never see.

A human closes the loop

Every revocation is routed to the person who can actually do it — then signed off, by name and time.

Audit-ready by default

Every grant and revocation is captured and kept, so the evidence an auditor asks for is already there.

Permission Report today

Permission Report's development evolved over four years of system design and planning. The 2026 launch marked a major milestone in David's career of entrepreneurship — the point where a system proven inside one organization became a product any organization can adopt.

Today, David and the team are focused on the long-term growth of Permission Report.

From the founder

"I watched a full day of audit prep turn into a report you could pull on demand. Once you've seen permission tracking done right, you notice everywhere it's missing — that's the gap Permission Report fills."
